Maggie makes a few new friends, and gets invited to a private rave in the country. Just as the group begins to suspect that they've taken a wrong turn, however, the trap is sprung and Maggie finds out firsthand what fate has befallen the missing girls. After her death, the brothel became haunted by Alice's ghost, and was eventually abandoned. One hundred years later, the old structure is renovated into a beautiful mansion. It is still rumored to inhabit the ghost of Alice. Despite this, the new owner; the rich and arrogant heir to the Davenport fortune, decides to throw a wild party for his first night in the house. Years after losing her own family, Emily, an in home care giver, clings to her client, Mrs. Baker, more than her boyfriend would like. When Mrs. Baker must move to a nursing home, Emily discovers it is haunted by a terrifying, soul-eating, entity. She tries to convince Mrs. Baker to transfer to another facility, but when Mrs. Baker dies unexpectedly, circumstances force Emily to choose whether to cross over into the spirit realm, risking her own mortality, or condemn Mrs. Baker to an eternity of darkness.

There is an orphanage on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. A young, mute orphan stands out as the only girl who speaks with her hands. She keeps a book that tells of a warrior princess that will save the Queen Horse and guide all the orphans home. After the evil sisters that run the orphanage find her book, she throws herself into the Forbidden Forest, where the evil owls will surely kill her. Instead, she is sent on a journey to find her true voice and bring back the light to this world.
